Lasso the Moon

Lasso the Moon tells the story of a man that discovers (with the help of two women) the beauty of love, friendship, redemption and the rarity of second chances in Texas and New York City.

It begins when a successful San Francisco attorney abandons his legal practice and returns to live in his small hometown of Star, Texas. To William Scott Bradford it is not a radical decision, certainly not a whimsical one; however something vital is missing from his life and he is determined to find out what that might be.

And when William poses an innocent question to a former golf-tour professional and master teacher named Maggie O’Connor, little did he know that his life had begun to shift in a new direction. Through time, her guidance and their exchanges of intelligence William learns that the game is interwoven with life and that life is interwoven with the game. He runs headlong into some inevitable parts: happiness, loss, doubt and failure, but through it all William discovers that serious daring – whether applied to golf or life – comes from within. He also finds unexpected beauty at Maggie’s place, Fairway Farms.
